Picking Out New Glasses Is Tough!
My current pair of glasses is six years old–I couldn’t believe it had been so long since I purchased a pair when I did the math. But glasses are incredibly expensive and I live on a tight budget.
When you think about first impressions your glasses are your main accessory. I was once a fashion Goddess, but as I get older I lean more toward comfortable and presentable. I do believe, however, that it is time for me to consider a new pair.
I first found GlassesShop.com while reading another blogger’s post on the variety and quality of products available on their website. When I read they had a buy-one-get-one-free deal I had to check them out. The following are my favorites.

GlassesShop.com offers so many gorgeous frames to choose from it was tough for me to decide. I finally decided on the Lansing Classic Wayframe in Gunmetal and the Eureka Classic Wayframe in Tortoise. Each frame available lists the face shapes it looks best on. The website also offers a try option. You can pick a picture of someone with a similar face shape as yours, or you can upload your own picture. Then you can try as many frames as you like to see which ones look best.
My vision is not good and I need transition lenses. I chose the most expensive option of $89.95 for thinner lenses, anti-reflective coating, etc. With free shipping my total bill was $193.80 for two pairs of glasses!
Once I receive the glasses I will write a post on my thoughts about this product. Maybe even a few pictures of me in my new glasses!
